Stargazing Night: Saturn Opposition
Join us for a special stargazing session to observe Saturn at opposition, when it's closest and brightest.
Saturn reaches opposition this month, making it the perfect time to observe the ringed planet. During opposition, Saturn is directly opposite the Sun as viewed from Earth, making it closest to our planet and at its brightest.
We'll have several telescopes set up, including our 14-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain, which will provide stunning views of Saturn's rings and moons. Weather permitting, we'll also explore other deep-sky objects visible in the evening sky.
